Stories change tone. Just like people do.

Some of what you’ll find here is raw. Some is reflective. Some are written mid-transition, others long after the dust has settled. There’s no single way to tell the truth.

I don’t write all of them, and that’s the point.

I built Rewrite to hold space for many voices, not just mine. I guide the tone, keep the pace gentle, and protect the purpose, but the stories are yours.

If you’ve ever felt like you no longer fit in the system you’re in, or the story you were told to follow — you’re not alone.

And your story is not too messy, too quiet, or too unfinished to be shared.

Rewrite is a space for reflection, not retaliation. Stories shared here are personal and powerful, and we ask that they be written with respect, not blame. We do not publish content that:

  • Names or identifies individuals negatively (first-hand experiences are welcome, but personal attacks are not).
  • Seeks to shame or accuse.
  • Violates someone's privacy or dignity.

We trust contributors to write with care. And because every submission is reviewed before publication, Rewrite reserves the right to decline or request edits to ensure this tone is preserved.
